Who we are
With Moshi is operated by Cultural Capital Labs. We provide AI-powered phone answering and booking services for UK restaurants. Our registered contact is hello@withmoshi.com.
What we collect
When you call a restaurant that uses With Moshi, we collect:
- Phone number - your caller ID, used to send booking confirmation SMS and for the restaurant to contact you if needed
- Call transcript - a text record of the conversation, stored securely and shared only with the restaurant you called
- Booking details - date, time, party size, name, and any dietary or special requests you provide during the call
- Call metadata - duration, timestamp, and call quality data used to improve our service
We do not record or store call audio. Only text transcripts are retained.
How we use your data
- To complete your restaurant booking
- To send you a booking confirmation SMS (if the restaurant has this enabled)
- To provide the restaurant with a record of your call
- To improve our voice agent's accuracy and response quality
Who sees your data
- The restaurant you called - they see your booking details and call transcript via their private dashboard
- With Moshi - we access call data for service maintenance and improvement
- Third-party processors - Twilio (telephony), ElevenLabs (voice AI), and Railway (hosting). Each operates under their own privacy policies and GDPR-compliant data processing agreements
We never sell your data to third parties. We never use your data for marketing.
SMS communications
If the restaurant has booking confirmation SMS enabled, you may receive a text message after your call with your booking details. This is a one-time transactional message, not marketing. You can request to stop receiving these by contacting us.
Data retention
- Call transcripts and booking data: retained for 90 days, then automatically deleted
- Phone numbers: retained alongside booking data for 90 days
- Aggregated analytics: call counts and timing data (no personal information) retained indefinitely
Your rights (GDPR)
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access - request a copy of any data we hold about you
- Rectification - correct any inaccurate data
- Erasure - request deletion of your data
- Portability - receive your data in a portable format
- Object - object to processing of your data
To exercise any of these rights, email hello@withmoshi.com with your phone number and we will respond within 30 days.
Cookies
The With Moshi website uses Plausible Analytics, a privacy-focused analytics tool that does not use cookies and does not track individual visitors. No cookie consent banner is required.
The restaurant dashboard uses localStorage to store your login session. This is not a cookie and is not shared with any third party.
Security
All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Call data is stored on encrypted servers. Access to restaurant dashboards is protected by API key authentication. We follow security best practices including input validation, rate limiting, and real-time monitoring.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be noted with an updated date at the top of this page.
